Enamelized is a book about down and dirty graffiti in the Streets! This lush international survey looks at what’s really happening in the urban graffiti scene, not in the galleries, art schools and computer labs.
Enamelized features the diverse and unique styles of urban graffiti bombers and the full spectrum of graffiti from the quickly executed tag to full color pieces displayed in the context of the urban environment.
Over 250 pieces of graffiti from around the world including Brazil, Denmark Holland, Canada, England and Germany are brilliantly reproduced in full color. One section printed on special Kraft paper focuses on the profusion of graffiti in and around Philadelphia. Artists featured include DALEK, CYCLE, CLAW, SKREW, AMAZE, BATES, ESPO, Grey, GIANT and EZO to name a few.

about:
Roger Gastman
Roger Gastman
Roger Gastman has never had a real job. Starting off a career in life with his skills in shoplifting and running scams, he eventually found a path through graffiti. In the ten years that he has been writing graffiti, Gastman has painted around the world and made numerous contacts in the art world. A true entrepreneur, Gastman used these experiences to launch While You Were Sleeping magazine (WYWS), when he was 19 years old. He took WYWS from a small publication run out of his mother’s house in Bethesda, MD to a full time national brand. Since leaving WYWS, Gastman has kept expanding his experiences by curating gallery shows and nurturing the growth of a publishing empire. This is his fourth book. His dog is named Harley.
