| The second volume in the famed street photographer’s city series, Boogie’s newest collection comes from the streets of Istanbul, Turkey. During a short stay in Istanbul, Boogie shot over 15 hours a day, on a mission to capture as much of the city in one week as possible. The results are Boogie’s first impression of Istanbul; what the city looks like, feels like, and gives up to a tourist in just one week. As with all of Boogie’s photos, this collection captures the in-your-face nature of what the urban experience holds. |

Not claiming to be a documentary, Boogie stresses that his photo books offer insights into just how much a city can reveal to the viewer during the course of a week’s exploration. Following on the footsteps of São Paulo, Istanbul is another remarkable work from a true documentary photographer.
