| Picking up where EGO 1 left off, Press Play and Record at the Same Time documents the ideation stage of the creative process within the "think tank" that is EGO. Proving that inspiration can (and should) be drawn from a broad spectrum of experiences, EGO 2 focuses on diverse exercises in perception. Readers are privy to proprietary graphic experiments and samplings from the public realm. These include images of advertisements in public spaces that have been anonymously written over and critiqued; photographs of graffiti tags used in the development of identities for fictitious companies; and the power of the subconscious mind as manifested in extemporaneous drawings.
