Tomato; Real and Imaginary Flowers is the catalog to an exhibition of Tomato's work held at Laforet in Harajuku, Tokyo between March 10 and April 1, 2001.
It is not a retrospective, nor a complete record of the work presented in the exhibition, nor is it a coherent narrative within itself.
According to Tomato it is ''nothing other than some work we have done, work that we wish to place before you and would like you to experience and think about. Maybe see and read connections thatwe never thought about or intended. That is all that it is.''
